This post comes on a rainy, cold, and grey day. I’m done with winter and my day job and health issues and all kinds of things that need either time or magic to shift into something better. So I’m actually factually waiting in limbo. Days like today are good days to clean out the pockets of one’s coat and the hidden nooks of one’s wallet.
Here are a few gems I’ve uncovered in my procrastination distractions.
Tag from a $16 straw hat purchased at the House of Good Fortune in Epcot Thanksgiving Week so many years ago:
I wake up and moonbeams play around my bed
Glittering the heartfrost to my wondering eyes
Upwards the glory moon I raise my head
Then lay me down and thoughts of home arise
– Made in China
Good Earth Tea Tags:
Don’t let someone dim your light simply because it’s shining in their eyes.

You have to go on and be crazy. Craziness is like heaven.
– Jimi Hendrix
Fortune Cookie Fortune:
No obstacles will stand in your way this coming week.
Finally:
I arrange these scraps of paper on my desk together in a little design and feel better. And I know the stuck feeling will move out perhaps as suddenly as it slipped in. The grey winter days with long nights have a way of making everything seem lackluster and plain old boring, but there’s something about the magic of fun memories and moments where someone’s words tickled me. I love magic moments when hidden messages set off of a spark and on some days, remembering that spark is magic enough.
